The School

Republic of Snowboarding s.a.r.l., a private licensed snowboarding school in Mzaar Ski Resort - Kfardebyan Lebanon, was launched in 2010 by a group of snowboarders passionate about riding and their love to teach the sport. With more than 20 years of riding experience, our crew gives private snowboarding lessons, freeride, freestyle, and guided tours in and outside Lebanon. All our instructors are carefully chosen based on their personality, riding technique, teaching skills, work and social ethics. They are all professionals, friendly, fun and dedicated.

Our mission is to spread the snowboard culture while creating a gratifying seasonal experience for all our students, by encouraging self-expression, individuality and the passion to ride, imparted with a genuine love of teaching and a cutting-edge technique. All in all, while staying true to our roots and always looking to improve.

With more than 20 years of riding experience, we take it upon ourselves to share our passion with the new generation while behaving as exemplary safety conscious ambassadors. All instructors maintain high professional standards, continually upgrading their professional status, know-how, and proficiency by continually participating in trainings and workshops to attain international standards and become an international licensed snowboarding school.

Republic of Snowboarding follows the Schweizer Schneesport Berufs- Und Schulverband (SSBS) rider’s system with over 20 certified ROS instructors. We also offer an 8-days methodology module level 1 course in collaboration with SSBS for those who wish to become Internationally Certified Snowboarding Instructors.

A sister company/school to Republic of Snowboarding, Fly Lebanon Paragliding offers tandem flights with ROS’ professional instructors and gives lessons for those who wish to become solo paragliders.
